This distinction avoids a frequent shortcut: an announcement about new subscriptions does not mean that all phones already installed stop on the same day.
Search for Discreet Uses
A building may retain a line for technical equipment, even when offices already use IP telephony. The inventory should therefore cover functions and equipment, not just the standard visible at reception.
For each line, record its usage, subscription and the maintainer of connected equipment. Specific services must be examined with their manufacturer and operator prior to a change.
Using history to prepare the suite
Since 2018, schedules and replacement technologies have evolved. The dates applicable today must be checked at the address concerned; an old announcement should not serve as a current calendar.
