2021: Opening the 6 GHz band in France prepares the way for Wi-Fi 6E
A new frequency band provides additional possibilities, provided that the devices and conditions of use are checked.

The French decision of 2021
On 13 December 2021, Arcep published its decision designating the band 5,945–6 425 MHz for certain radio local networks. The text distinguishes in particular from devices of low power inside and very low power. Arcep, decision on the 6 GHz band of 13/12/2021.
This opening is a milestone for networks using 6 GHz. It does not mean that Wi-Fi devices already installed can use this band by simply changing the setting.
Examine the user park
A study should identify access points references and the capabilities of connecting devices. Safety parameters and applicable regulations must be checked with the selected equipment.
The location of the terminals and uses remain elements of the project. Adding a new band does not exempt you from watching coin cover and network links.
Choose from locations
For a hotel or office, old and new appliances must be taken into account in the preparation. Tests must be defined to control important uses.
