2025: Plan for the end of standard Windows 10 support one computer at a time

Microsoft indicates the end of Windows 10 standard support to October 14, 2025 for relevant editions and versions. Long-cycle editions and extended update programs follow separate conditions that need to be checked. Microsoft, Windows 10 version information.
This date does not mean that computers stop physically operating. It changes the framework of their maintenance and invites us to examine the possibilities for migration and the dependencies of activity.
Identify positions and their constraints
The preparation should include system editing, equipment reference and necessary applications. Devices and connections to specialized equipment must be included.
A position dedicated to a particular function does not only treat itself as an office computer. Its replacement may request a verification with the publisher or service provider concerned.
Preparing for testing and recovery
The backup, software testing and organization of change must be defined before the switch. An operation on a representative post helps to clarify the constraints.
