The 2011 change

In November 2011, the switch to digital television came to an end in France. The CSA's annual report describes the last analog broadcast stops on 29 November. This milestone marks a change in technology; it does not mean that all reception facilities for buildings become identical. CSA, Annual Report 2011.

The terrestrial antenna, the parable, distribution equipment and the television remain distinct elements. In a building or hotel, a program can be received correctly at the entrance to the facility and missed on a screen located further away.

What it learns from diagnosis

Before an automatic chain search, it is useful to know where the program comes from and how many sockets are affected. A breakdown on a room, floor or entire building does not steer the controls in the same way.

The statement shall describe the relevant channels, screens used and recent changes. This information makes it possible to prepare a measurement in the right place, instead of replacing an apparatus on the basis only of a black screen.

For a current park

The 2011 benchmark does not provide any information on compatibility with the formats released today. The type-approval, decoding and distribution characteristics should be examined in their current version.

Alltech can intervene on TV reception and distribution. To prepare an application, indicate the building, relevant sockets and symptoms observed on each TV set.
