2018: Marking Wi-Fi access points on a plan is only part of installation planning

Locations, accesses and cables must be coordinated prior to crew passage.

The plan as a coordination tool

In 2018, the preparation of hotel Wi-Fi facilities includes plans to position the terminals. The plan allows us to talk about the same place and identify priority areas.

However, it must be confronted with the possibility of laying down. An interesting location for the radio can require a cable path, support or specific access to the ceiling.

Connecting the project's trades

The work shall specify the attachment points, network arrivals and accessible areas. The organization with reception avoids imagining the availability of all rooms at the same time.

A list of planned passages allows some operations to be grouped together. It also facilitates follow-up when a location needs to be adapted during preparation.

Keep a workable version

The completion plan must allow the equipment actually installed to be recovered. References, cable markers and deviations from the original project are useful for maintenance.

Alltech prepares the implantation and connections. For an extension, an old plan can be used as a basis provided that it still represents the current premises and equipment.
