Connecting the terminal to its infrastructure
Wi-Fi cable recipe preparations in 2022 recall that radio is only part of the installation. The point of access depends on the link that connects it to the building network.
The apparent smooth operation of equipment at a given time does not replace a survey of wiring and controls corresponding to the project perimeter.
Define what will be controlled
The preparation shall specify the points concerned, the benchmarks and the expected results. The information must allow to find a socket, cable and connection in the bay.
A deviation must be located to prepare its correction. The report makes it easier to distinguish controlled links from those that were not accessible or part of the intervention.
Keep records useful for maintenance
Plans, benchmarks and results must be traceable after work has been completed. They facilitate terminal displacement, extension or analysis of a subsequent incident.
