A network makes sense when its connections are clear.

Locate a link, trace a port, find the services: our diagrams clarify the installation and help prepare maintenance.

From planning to maintenance.

Planning combines an overview with connection details. The same documentation helps explain the architecture, locate equipment and prepare changes.

Anonymized excerpts: names, addresses and access details are not shown.

All the information in one place

One technical dossier, all the information connected.

The network, cabinets, servers and services are brought together in the same dossier. A shared label links each device to its connections, role and maintenance information.

Depersonalized overview: sections and labels are brought together to show how the documentation is organized. Real names, addresses and access details are not displayed.

A device label links its location, connections and role.

The dossier content is adapted to the equipment and scope of the installation.

01 · Network architecture

A network core and its fibre links.

Two core switches, two access switches, a firewall and the provider connection: this view shows the equipment and its links.

Dual links can be traced port by port. Equipment names and labels have been replaced in this excerpt.

The task: identify links between devices, distinguish the ports involved and keep a reference view for connections and extensions.

02 · Port patching

From wall outlet to switch port.

The patch panel has 24 positions. The diagram aligns outlets with the ports of a 48-port switch and shows the documented connections.

Each line represents a connection recorded in the plan. Ports without a line are not detailed in this excerpt.

The task: locate an outlet, identify its connection and prepare a move or a repair while keeping the cabinet labels consistent.

03 · Servers and VMs

The physical server, its virtual machines and their roles.

A structured view separates licence management, virtual desktops, backup, directory services and session access.

The branches describe how machines and roles are organized; they do not represent network cables.

The task: explain where services run, make dependencies visible and prepare platform operations and user support.

Understand before making changes.

Whether tracing a connection, reorganizing a cabinet or upgrading a server, we use diagrams to support maintenance and handover.
